Expert Answers about Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro Travel Trailer

  • Troubleshooting A Furrion Vision S Camera System That Won't Pair
  • Failure of the monitor to sync with the camera always comes back to powering the unit. Depending on the vehicle you're towing with you could have PWM wiring, which sends a pulsing voltage instead of constant voltage and can cause pairing issues. It's not unheard of that it will just randomly work with no issues and then go back to giving you issues. This can be solved by installing the # VGR64VR to provide constant voltage to the camera. This adapter will splice in behind your rear camera...

  • Will Coil Springs Help Reduce Vehicle Sag While Towing
  • Hey Steve, the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1069 is definitely going to help, but ultimately the best way to reduce sag while towing is to use a weight distribution system. If you can let me know what your tongue weight is of your trailer when loaded up ready to roll, I'd be happy to make some suggestions I think you'll like. Or, if you'd rather use a tow vehicle suspension upgrade let me know what year your Audi Q5 is and I'll help you out there.

  • Recommended Redarc Brake Controller Mounting Panel For A 2016 Toyota Tacoma
  • The Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro # 331-TPSI-007 will definitely be the correct part for your 2016 Toyota Tacoma. I included a picture of this installed that will quell any doubts as well. The picture does show one more function on the panel than what you have, but it will be exactly the same other than that.

  • Will Sway Control Bracket Fit a 1-1/4" Hitch Ball Shank
  • Hey Cal! The largest shank size for the "slip-on" style of sway control brackets we have is the Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26003 for a 1" shank. Since you need something larger you'll need to have the Sway Control Tab # 3442 welded on to your current ball mount to add that sway control feature. Technically you could try to enlarge the hole on the Reese bracket but then you run the risk of ruining the integrity of the sway control bracket so that isn't necessarily recommended.

  • How To Determine What Lug Nuts Will Fit A 2019 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro
  • There is no way we can tell you what lug locks would be used on your 2019 Geo Pro 15TB is. What you're going to need to do is measure the lug studs on the trailer when you pick up the trailer. The most common sizes are: 1/2"-20 short # 12CLN, 1/2"-20 long # 12CLN-L, 9/16"-18 # 6-53, and 5/8"-18 # X1148. Once you've determined what size lug nuts you have, you can determine which locking lug nuts will work for you. For example, the Wheel Lock Set for 1/2" Wheel bolt # RG01-150, which will...

  • Kuat Transfer V2 vs Kuat Sherpa 2.0 For Use on a Travel Trailer
  • Since you're wanting to use the bike rack on a travel trailer you need to use the Transfer V2 # KU84FR instead of the Sherpa 2.0, like part # SH22G. True, the Sherpa looks a bit more fancy but it hasn't been tested and approved for the exaggerated movement at the back of a travel trailer so if you were to use it and the rack failed it wouldn't be covered under warranty.

  • Equalizer Weight Distribution Solution for 2022 Forest River GeoPro G19FDS
  • The frame brackets of the Equal-i-zer kits like the part # EQ37060ET need to attach to the trailer frame between 27 and 32 inches back from the ball center and they are a narrower bracket so they would fit on your 2022 Forest River GeoPro G19FDS. Since we know your camper uses a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball you'd also need the part # EQ91-00-6100. This system would also be ideal for the weight of your trailer as well.

  • Hitch Recommendation For 2020 Forest River Geo Pro Travel Trailer

This hitch will use the bolt holes on the frame of your trailer to mount, allowing you to have the clearance needed for your black tank. • What Bike Rack Option Do You Have as an Alternative to the LC429756?
  • I'm sorry to hear about the interference! I believe you are talking about the Hitch-It 2 Bike Rack for Straight Tongue Trailers # LC731138. This rack comes with clamps that work with 2" - 4" wide trailer tongues. If you are looking for an alternative solution, I recommend using a dual hitch adapter like the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2" or 6" Drop/Rise # RM-077-6. With that adapter, I recommend using a bike rack like the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2"...

  • What Size/Style Breakaway Cable Do I Need To Replace My Current Cable
  • I'm assuming that you're saying you have a 4' coiled breakaway cable kind of like the Fastway # FA80-01-2140. When it comes to replacing the cable it really doesn't matter what the style/length is as long as the length is less than your safety chains. In the event of a breakaway the safety chains will keep the trailer attached to the tow vehicle and will pull tight, causing the breakaway cable pin to be pulled out of the switch. If the cable is too long it won't pull the pin and activate...

  • What is Real Difference Between Using Curt True Course Sway Control and Tuson Sway Control
  • Since the Tuson Electronic Sway Control System # 335TSC-1000 will activate either side of the trailer brakes as needed to stop sway and the Curt True Course # C94VV instead applies them both at the same time and does a better job sensing and stopping sway the Tuson is a more advanced setup. If you are wanting the absolute best, don't want to feel sway at all, don't mind paying for it, and having a slightly more involved install the Tuson is the way to go. The Hayes installs incredibly...

  • Recommended Awning For A 2020 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 12' Camper
  • For your 2020 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 12' travel trailer I recommend the Thule Hideaway # TH490011. This is a 9' 10" wide awning which is made to mount directly to the side wall of your camper. Looking at these 2020 Geo Pro campers, it appears you should have plenty of space to mount up an awning of this size. The support legs can be adjusted up to 10' tall, so this will be plenty tall for your camper. Thule also makes a quick fit tent # TH307060, which allows you to turn the 9'...

  • What is the Best Cover for a Forest River Geo Pro G12RK
  • From what I could find your 2019 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro Travel Trailer G12RK is 11' 3" long. The Adco Polypropylene Storage Lot RV Cover # 290-74838 you asked about is made to fit trailers 12'-15'. That being said most covers made for a trailer as short as yours are made for pop up trailers. The Adco cover will be slightly big but it does feature a contoured fit, cinch ropes and weighted straps with buckles. This will help keep the cover tighter to your trailer and reduce billowing....
